Looking for Oral Surgery in Hawker?

Onsite surgery and sedation

oral surgery dentist with patient Oral surgery can be a complex and even sometimes lengthy procedure that Hawker families have to go through. At Hawker Dental, we do our best to accommodate your preferences for comfort with a range of sedation options.

Oral surgery can be used to restore health and function and also to relieve pain

Surgical Extractions

Challenging dental extractions are often referred to an oral surgeon. Our highly experienced general dentists can typically remove the tooth without a referral.

Wisdom Tooth Removal

The last set of molars can often become impacted or only erupt partially. Situations like these can lead to infection, swelling or even damage to neighbouring teeth.

Dental Implant Placement

Implants are surgically placed into the bone. Accurate placement can significantly impact the success of your treatment.

Our Hawker dentists grade your sedation on your level of comfort and the type of procedure being performed. For instance, we offer local anaesthetic and nitrous oxide here in our office, if you don’t mind being fully conscious during the treatment.

A step up from conscious sedation would be intravenous (IV) sedation. We have resources at a dental surgery in Phillip where the IV sedation is administered by a licensed anaesthetist.

For the deepest state of relaxation possible, you can choose to have your surgery completed under general anaesthesia at the local hospital. Please note that when we perform surgeries off-site from our Hawker practices, there will be additional fees involved.
