Dr. Amber Halstead
Dentist
Though she used to be scared of the dentist as a child, thanks to a positive experience in the dental chair, Dr. Amber knew that she wanted to help other people feel safe and understood at the dentist’s office like she did. Dr. Amber also finds it fulfilling to give patients choices and help them decide what is best for them. She always aims to offer patients sensible treatment that lasts. Dr. Amber earned a Bachelor of Dental Science (Hons) from the University of Western Australia in 2007. She also obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne. To stay abreast of the latest in the field, she regularly takes continuing professional development (CPD) courses every year. She is particularly interested in oral medicine, endodontics, prosthodontics and paediatric dentistry. She also has a keen interest in disease processes and helping people become healthy. Outside the Practice When she’s not working, Dr. Amber enjoys raising her children, baking, reading and walking.
Dr. Naren Indukuri
Dentist
Dr. Naren completed his Bachelor of Dentistry in 2010 and moved to Canberra in 2015 after spending several years working in regional Victoria and New South Wales. He quickly fell in love with the Bush Capital and has proudly called Canberra home ever since. Dr. Naren has extensive experience working in both the public and private sectors. During his time in the public system, he worked in regional communities including Mildura and with the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District in New South Wales, before continuing his public dental career with ACT Health. These experiences have allowed him to care for patients from a wide range of backgrounds and with diverse dental needs. Committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care, Dr. Naren is known for his calm, friendly, and approachable nature. His patients appreciate the time he takes to listen, explain treatment options, and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their dental journey. Dr. Naren believes that excellent oral health starts with education and prevention. He is passionate about promoting good oral hygiene from an early age and helping patients understand the important connection between oral health and overall wellbeing. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Naren regularly undertakes professional development courses to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry. He recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Dental Implantology through Charles Sturt University and welcomes conversations with patients who are considering dental implants as a treatment option. He is also a proud member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and has a strong interest in implant dentistry and digital dentistry. As dentistry continues to evolve, Dr. Naren is committed to expanding his knowledge and skills by attending advanced courses and conferences across Australia and internationally. He also plans to pursue further studies in the future. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Naren is a proud dad who loves spending quality time with his daughter and son, who certainly keep him busy and active. He is also passionate about powerlifting and thoroughly enjoys the discipline, challenge, and consistency it brings. When he’s not in the clinic or attending professional courses, he enjoys travelling, training, and staying up to date with the latest advances in dentistry.
Dr. Kerin Jacob
Dentist
Dr. Kerin obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide. Since graduating, he has worked in various clinics across Newcastle and Melbourne. Dr. Kerin values putting his patients first and strives to provide high-quality dental treatment in a caring and gentle manner. His love for dentistry has allowed him to volunteer in remote parts of Nepal, Vietnam, and rural parts of Australia in order to give back to communities who struggle to obtain and access dental care. Dr. Kerin loves general dentistry but has a strong passion for prosthodontics, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. He is very driven to provide the best care to his patients and wants to work with them to obtain their ideal smile. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics and offers both clear aligner and traditional braces treatments to help patients achieve a healthy, confident smile. Dr. Kerin loves working with nervous patients and believes educating patients is important to obtain their best oral health. Outside of dentistry, Kerin enjoys hiking, playing cricket and travelling, with a love for exploring new places and experiencing different cultures.
Dr. Priyanka Mehta

Dr. Priyanka’s patient care philosophy places comfort and concerns at the forefront. She has skills in various dental treatments, with a special interest in Orthodontics. She is committed to continuous learning aiming to provide best patient care. Dr. Priyanka obtained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery followed by specialisation in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from one of the most prestigious universities in India. In addition, she is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Orthodontics from Sydney, accredited by the City of London Dental School and the University of Bolton, UK to further expand her scope of orthodontic practice. With a decade of clinical experience under her belt, believes that taking time to listen, educate and collaborate, creating a partnership that empowers patients to make informed decisions about their oral health. Dr. Priyanka says “The best part of my job is getting to know my patients and then seeing their confidence grow as their treatment progresses.” Whether its a routine procedure or a complex treatment, Dr. Priyanka’s dedication to detail ensures results that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. In her spare time, Dr. Priyanka enjoys travelling, loves nature, likes spending time outdoors, cooking and meeting new people. Dr. Priyanka speaks English, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati so is able to provide you with care in any of these languages
Dr. William Wang
Dentist
Dr. Wang is a compassionate and skilled dental practitioner with a strong focus on patient-centered care. Raised in Sweden, he later moved to the United Kingdom to pursue his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and develop his clinical skills through diverse hands-on experiences. He started his career in an emergency dental center, delivering essential treatment to patients with limited access to care—an experience that has deepened his dedication to providing accessible and empathetic dentistry. Dr. Wang believes preventative care and oral health education are essential for long-term wellbeing. He values open communication with his patients and strives to build trust through clear, honest discussions about their care. His clinical interests include restorative dentistry, periodontal treatment, and prosthodontics. He is especially experienced in helping patients with dental anxiety feel comfortable and confident in the chair—something he considers one of the most rewarding parts of his work. Outside the clinic, Dr. Wang is an avid home cook who enjoys experimenting with both Eastern and Western cuisine. He also cherishes time spent with family, whether going for walks or enjoying a board game at home. Dr. Wang speaks English, Swedish and Chinese so is able to provide you with care in any of these languages.
